Group showings of Reef Assassin educate the public about the seriousness of the problem, while presenting viable solutions that need our attention. Ask your local  groups and educational institutions to host a screening, and contact us for help.

Ask your elected officials to support US Congressman Matt Gaetz' Reef Assassin Act (Otherwise known as H.R. 2560) enabling states to effectively reward divers for killing lionfish.

Ask for lionfish In the grocery store, fish market and restaurants. Rising demand will create increased opportunities for commercial fishermen.

The Emerald Coast Reef Association is in the forefront of educating the public about the need for an effective reward program to incentivize divers to kill lionfish, so ask the ECRA how you can help.

Divers can contact their local dive shops for spearfishing instruction, and then go to www.myfwc.com for a list of upcoming lionfish derbies in order to receive needed support.
